the decision based on the reason of rapid growth of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
Recently, the country has recorded 481 new cases of the deadly virus, with the total number of cases summing up to 42,689.
The virus is easily spread through body fluids of an infected person, especially the respiratory fluids which drop when an infected person sneezes or coughs. When such fluid gets in contact with any of the uninfected person's body opening such as mouth, nose or eyes, the person will be infected.
Nigerian Schools classrooms usually contain huge number of students, without properly observing the safety procedures such as social distancing, wearing face masks, hand sanitizing, the infected students can easily transfer the virus to the other students through sneezing or contaminating surfaces.
