Barcelona have officially announced Ronald Koeman as their new head coach today, Koeman took charge the managerial role at Barcelona from quique setien after their exit from the champions league by
Bayern Munich in Lisbon.
Koeman emerge as the first choice after beating the likes of xavi and pochettino to become the new manager, he was formerly the coach of Barca B and also an assistant manager at Barcelona..
He has signed a contract which will keep him at Barcelona till June 2022 which was stated below..
“FC Barcelona and Ronald Koeman have reached an agreement for the Dutchman to take over as first-team coach until 30 June 2022.
“The presentation and subsequent press conference for the new Barça coach will take place today from 6.00 pm CEST at the Auditori 1899.”
koeman has coached the likes of Everton, Holland national team, PSV, Benfica, Ajax, vitesse, Southampton, Feyenoord, Valencia, Az Alkmaar.
