Xenophobia: FG Promises Transport stipend, N40,000 and 9GB DATA to SA Returnees



About 188 Nigerians who arrived Lagos at about 9:34pm yesterday, Wednesday 11th September due to xenophobic attack in South Africa have been promised transport stipends to convey them to their various destinations, N40,000 worth of airtime,
9GB of Data for two months for ease of communication and also a soft loan from the bank of industry for those who are interested in starting up a small scale business.

Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM Abike Dabiri-Erewa who led a team of government officials to receive the returnees revealed that the Government is planning a program to absorb them back into the society.
