Items found in one of the perpetrators' house
A 20 year old girl was raped by a group of boys in Asaba, Delta State, on Friday 6th September. The boys filmed the evil act and released the video on social media.
Explaining what happened, the Lady said
that her friend had introduced her to the boy and she visited him in his house on Friday. The visit turned out to be a nightmare as he accused her of stealing N31,000 and called about 9 of his friends who overpowered her, stripped her and three of them raped her in turns, recorded their act and published the video on social media. Adding to that, they also took her ATM Card and PIN and robbed her of her bank savings.
The Director General of Behind Bar Rights Foundation, Mr Harrison Gwamnishu together with his team in collaboration with the Delta State Police Command have kicked off investigation on the matter.
On the 9th of September, Mr Harrison and his investigation team found some items in one of the perpetrators' house. The items include
-Bra
-Hair Net
-Charms.
The Director General of the Human Rights foundation revealed that he and his team have determined to ensure that perpetrators of this evil act are brought to book.
