A Dubai based Company Mara Technology company on Thursday opened South Africa's first Made in Africa Smartphone plant.
The company is set to develop and assemble smart phone components and produce about 1.2million Android based devices annually, according to NAN report.

However, the Mara Group announced that it would make its Mara X and Mara Z Smartphones available in African markets at affordable prices.
